To save face. Fact is Fury beat the count, he was prepared and ready to fight when he got up, the referees always allow a bit of time to make sure and rightly so, stop acting like this is a new thing. Wilder still showed his amazing power though and with the knockdowns deserves the rematch even though in reality he lost the first fight by a very wide margin. Anyone who thinks otherwise does not know boxing. Take up golf, perhaps.

Fury is a bit of a cunt. He was roids for the W Klitsckho fight and faked an injury to duck the rematch. I have a feeling he's gonna pull the same crap with Wilder.

He easily did. Tyson didn't dominate. it is a gross exaggeration.
He had to win 3 of the remaining rounds to get a draw. 4 more rounds to get a win.

I had it a draw on my card...3-3 through 6, then Fury won most every other moment in the fight in the last 6 rounds, but gave away two rounds by getting dropped...it was a good fight.

I also think Fury was fine after the KD in round 12...he braced himself for those two shots that put him down, and then knew he was going to take until the end of the count to get up...if you watch the video, he looked at Reiss while he was down, signaling that he was alert and knew where he was.

A draw was the right call imo...I don't think either guy can 100% walk around bragging about a win...they both have things they can brag about, but if they want to really boast they have to do better in the rematch.

            do the math.

            he had 2 X 10-8 rounds.

out of the 12 rounds. it's the equivalent of winning 4 rounds already.

The remaining 10 rounds. Tyson not only had to make up for the 2 rounds lost. He has to make up for the additional 2 points lost.

he is automatically 4 rounds behind in the remaining 10 rounds.

Tyson had to win 8 of the remaining 10 rounds to tie up the fight.

It's you who has the maths wrong, If you have Fury winning 7-5 in rounds, the score would 113-113 a draw. it would normally be 115-113 to Fury but he lost the 2 points because of the KD's.

If Fury wins 8-4 in rounds he wins 114-112. i had Fury 9-3 in rounds which 115-111.

Because Wilder is a lying total fraud pretender. And everything he says is self serving lies and BS to fabricate himself into a money making star.

Wilder is a worse liar than Mayweather. Literally everything he says is BS, propaganda and smoke and mirrors. Only fools believe anything this super fool says.

Just remember, Wilder is a 100% total fraud hoax pretender protected by an establishment of crooks (Haymon Finkel Sulaiman Espinoza) who need him as their vehicle to accumulate/steal your money.

im guessing its just an ego play....i think deep down wilder was disappointed in his performance....wilder loves delivering on his ko's....and he didn't...he thought he was about to.....i don't think he could believe fury got up and neither could I really....i do believe wilder when he said he really wanted to deliver and got so wound up in it that he didn't fight as well as he could have
                      Makes sense ...
I think Wilder will fight a much better fight in the rematch
