Well i don't think Cancio is that great a fighter but if Hearn gave Rosado and Rios an opportunity then why not Cancio??
He has more in the gas tank than Rios and Rosado and i would like to see Cancio earn a few more pay days before he retires.
Nothing he's ever accomplished came easy so hope he can earn some decent money with Hearn...

This young man will have no problem getting a shot to make good money and a title elsewhere....be it PBC, TR, or MatchroomUSA. Or better yet be a floater and go where the opportunities are no matter who’s signing the cheques.
Now that’s 3 fighters who have publicly taken serious digs at golden boy.....that is clearly not idle. There is a problem at that promotion.

I don't see how anyone can sincerely take Oscar's side in this. As others have said, even though he just loss he still had those two big underdog wins against Machado which made for a terrific story, he got lots of coverage on the internet and even in Ring magazine. Even if his worth was diminished after losing his belt, he was still a fighter with at least some degree of value. This all boils down to the fact that he mildly disrespected Oscar for saying that he could have managed his recent career a bit better and doesn't communicate well. This all just boils down to Oscar being an emotionally unstable individual. It's clear that Golden Boy has been an absolute clown show ever since Schafer left. Every other major promotional outfit runs rings around them.
