Well i don't think Cancio is that great a fighter but if Hearn gave Rosado and Rios an opportunity then why not Cancio??
He has more in the gas tank than Rios and Rosado and i would like to see Cancio earn a few more pay days before he retires.
Nothing he's ever accomplished came easy so hope he can earn some decent money with Hearn...

Agreed, he has the built in Rocky-esque everyman backstory that Hearn could easily tap into and market just as well as GB, as well as what seems to be a dedicated local/grassroots "win or lose" following (maybe on a smaller scale than, say, Rosado) that Hearn and co. could further cultivate as well. As you say if Rosado, why not Cancio? Very easy to see.

To GBP, he is expendable. He was just a thorn on their side.

Not going to help GBP if they want fighters to sign and/or stay with them. Guys know that they most likely aren't going to be a Canelo or a Garcia, but that shouldn't stop them from speaking up if they feel they should get a little more push .

He fked up by talking about his boss especially before a fight. Had he talked that sht after winning, it would have been better but he lost. Perfect reason for GBP to let em guy.

Cancio is a nice guy but let’s face it. He is not promotable, he is more like a glorified joe blow. He looks no different than bigstomps or any other dishwasher.

Im a boss and Im going to take the Bosses side. I know how employees can be. They are usually ungrateful bunch and maybe GB felt the same way about Cancio.

So golden boy decides that they must defend their honor because cancio spoke negatively about them. Ryan Garcia talked crazy about them and had a nice new contract 2 days later. Canelo blasted them and Oscar acts like it never happened. Typical hypocrisy from 2 faced boxing promotors.
