And what is the organization called WORLD that gives a ranking you are quoting? Is it WBC? IBF? WBA? WBO? IBO? The Ring? TBRB? Or are you picking and choosing each to your own liking?

To me, WBC is the most credible among the sanctioning bodies. Their ranking is more in touch with reality. According to WBA, for instance, Manuel Charr is better than Joshua, Whyte, Ortiz, etc. and Fury is unranked. So are Joe Joyce and Trevor Bryan. IBF has Pulev better than everyone else.

If they are fighting a WBC title fight, I am going to look at their WBC ranking. Because that is where the fight is active. Sure, other rankings may or may not agree.

I am no fan of Wilder fighting low-level fighters. I have also said it time and again on this forum. In fact, I have also said I would have liked Wilder fight Kownacki or Povetkin instead of Ortiz rematch. My point was simple...his recent opponents aren't as bad as people are trying to portray.
That was the dumbest **** I have heard on this website for a while hahaha. You are saying that the WBC is the most credible of the belt organizations??!?!? You mean the same ones that have Whyte waiting around until 2021 to get a shot at Wilder? You mean the same ones that make up rules for Canelo for the last 4 or 5 years? You mean the same ones that didn't have Wilder fight a mandatory for years? Those guys are the GOOD guys?? OK, I can't debate with an inbred. you believe what you want to believe. I guess you believe that Wilder got 20 million and Ortiz got 7 million for their last fight too them huh? Hahahah I guess you think that Wilder "bet on himself" too huh? When he ducked and ran from 120 million and unification. Face it, Wilder is a bum beating fraud. He's getting props for beating up on an old man that he already beat up on.

And you haven't answered even a single point. Instead, you're diverting it now to other people's pay. Why should I be bothered by what Wilder or Ortiz got? $20m or $2m or $2k? Why does that bother you? Still much more than you probably will earn in your lifetime.

You participating in this thread is proof enough both Ortiz and Wilder are relevant. If Wilder is a bum, why do you watch his fights? or comment on threads related to him? He should be an unknown to you then. Why has him beating an old man generated interest in you to comment here?

And you still haven't answered where you came up with those rankings.

Wow you are ******. You can literally Google search "Wilder's opponents rankings" and see what each guy he fought, was ranked when he fought them. But instead of doing that, you keep getting on here to argue a non-point. Wilder is a bum beating fraud. His fans are just as dim as he is. The people managing him are con artists, hence as to why they won't release the numbers. The reason I made the thread was not because Wilder is "relevant", it's to show idiots like yourself that he is a fraud. They are polishing a turd and calling it steak. And you are eating it up and saying "yummy" hahahah. ****head, hit me with facts or get off the thread. You've made yourself look like an ass long enough. Facts or get out already

I am at a crossroads. I am hoping the fight does well on one had as it would mean the sport still has fans and is healthy. On the other hand I want it to fail so they will maybe stop trying to sell us these fights as PPV when they should not be.

If the fight reaches over 300,000 buys it will be a huge success in my eyes even if PBC and Fox hate those numbers. 300K+ views for a fight nobody wanted would be fantastic. It would prove Wilder sells fights because we all know Ortiz didn't sell any.
I am on the same boat.

I say 200k buys or less. That is a fight nobody really wanted to see and had no reason to be on ppv. The offered big purses in a fight that had no buzz

I say that if it was 200k or so, they would have released that number. I think it did something horribly bad like 40k or so. No one wanted this rematch and no one was ****** enough to pay for a PPV when you can watch better fights and better cards on an app for way less. PPV is dead, unless they put a fight on there that no one would complain about being on PPV. The only fight that qualifies would be Wilder vs Joshua, provided AJ wins this weekend. But even then, AJ fights on DAZN so again, so PPV. I also think the fight purses were a lie. Fox is not ****** enough to give Wilder 20 million and Ruiz 7 million for a flopping PPV haha. The numbers don't add up at all. And I'm sure everyone involved is praying that the Fury rematch happens but I am not holding my breath on that either. I am positive that Fury will find an out, just like his cousin did last weekend. Some mysterious injury will happen a few weeks before the fight and Wilder will find the lowest ranked boxer in the WBC top 15 to fight.

Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately), Google does not index your arse from where you keep bringing those rankings. So, Google only gives me the rankings I gave you. You won't say which ranking they are because you know they do not exist.

We agree on one thing...I do feel ****** now trying to argue with an Eddie Hearn bot who's gonna repeat the same propaganda without even reading, let alone presenting an argument.

I am outta here. Wilder is bad fraud, Eddie Hearn is god.

                Cheers.

I actually believe the 138k number, I don’t think it did 200k nor was I expecting it to do 40k.

I actually think 138k is a success IMHO, Wilder against a Cuban, someone that isn’t famous, someone that has a terrible resume and doesn’t speak English, and he has already KO out.

Even with the heavy promotion and getting Ortiz to grow his hair etc I didn’t think it would do 200k, Wilder doesn’t have casual fans, he has die hard, hardcore fans who don’t pay for his PPV.

I think this is why he needs someone like a Fury or Ruiz who is of Mexican heritage to sell.

                  Bud/Khan sold 150k.... so yeah.

PPV is not dead. If you put on a crappy fight on PPV it will give you back crappy numbers. Floyd and Pac were able to carry a ppv event with their names alone and when it was a good foe they did better.

There is no fighter in this current crop that can sell that amount of ppv events. None are house hold names.

I'm glad you finally admit that you feel ****** and that Wilder is a fraud. Now we can move forward. Eddie Hearn is no God and neither is AJ. But they at least try to put on good fights and they are offering guys career high paydays to fight for unification. That's tons more than I can say for Wilder and the PBC
