Fighting wilder is EXACTLY like fighting a top level straight right spammer on fight night champion

You can dominate every single round, but you can still get 1 punch KO'd at any moment and lose the fight

Who here has had this happen?

I am not a Wilder fan (until he proves himself) but I think he has the hardest punch ever. Way harder than Foreman. Don't forget that generation of heavyweights was smaller than we have now.

Also watch Foreman's highlights, some of his opponents really take a lot of punches before they go down.

As scary as Wilder is. What happens when someone else, young and fast and with a big punch goes toe to toe with him? Wilder doesn't have the greatest defence or boxing skills. He may have the punch but he's vulnerable.

Ortiz was old, Stiverne was old, Fury was fat and retired.

We saw Breazeale drive Wilder back on shaky legs in that first round KO. Imagine a fighter who isn't Dominic Breazeale with a big punch.....

Wilder's power is weird. It's not this heavy handed sledgehammer type of power like say Foreman or Holyfield had.. Its more of a concussive explosive flash that's akin to being struck by lightening or something lol

Once he fights a guy that knows how to defend his right hand power by turning with the punch when hit and can take his punch then Wilder will lose his heavyweight championship. Holyfield, Lewis, Ali and Holmes are guys that would have weathered the Wilder storm and outbox him in the long run.

I am not impressed by a guy that gets outboxed for 6 rounds and ends it by the seventh round with a big right hand. What happens if the big right hand never landed.

He been was "exposed" lmao. Everyone knows his weakness. Its a matter of not getting knocked tf out!!

Anyone that fights at heavyweight is vulnerable. The head can only take so much force and these guys are weighing over 220lbs. Doesn't take much from that size to disconnect someone's nervous system from their brain.

People always talk about Wilder's resume but never want to talk about Tyson's or any of the other HOF greats resumes. If we could send him back in time, Wilder probably would beat any of their opponents.

People disregard how explosive Wilder is.... It can be the 12th round and in one spilt second you layed out on your back after winning every round. Thats why he is dangerous.

Wilder is no way near heaviest hitter. He's being allowed to shine in a climate where refs protect fighters more than ever with premature stoppages. In olden days as long as you got up the ref would allow fight to continue.

Everyone goes into the fight knowing that's what they need to do but it's easier said than done. Wilder is more athletic and too fast for evey heavyweight. He hits too hard for anyone to roll with that right hand. I think the only way he gets beat is if he's swarmed and not allowed to get extension on that right hand. It would also help to beat on his on right arm and shoulder. Alternatively, going for the KO at the first bell might work too.
Stiverne and Brezeale tried it and got exposed. Wilder is too quick for the current Heavyweights. Maybe in couple of years he will slowdown a bit and get exposed.
