if this was a video game, ruiz chin would be 95, hand speed 89, stamina 65, strength 80.
wilder chin 80, hand speed 83, stamina 90, strength 98
joshua chin 75, hand speed 83, stamina 85, strength 90
fury chin 90, hand speed 81, stamina 80, strength 83.

when's that boxing video game coming?

well, a decent ratings spread would include foot speed, recovery, clinch, jab, reach, ring iq, head movement, e.t.c

        but this isn't that.

Just rewatching the rematch. Ruiz took some big shots in this fight too. Not quite at the level of that right hand after the knockdown in fight 1, but still big shots and he took plenty of them.

I'm looking at this guy and wondering if he can be stopped.

Probably helps to have a neck and head shaped like a thumb. Is that it takes? A big fat head?

I actually made a thread about this a few days ago and I think that is part of that. Look at the guys Wilder had trouble putting down. Fury got up (twice), Arreola got pummeled but didn’t go down (TKO), and one other fat white dude (journeyman whose name I cant remember) got TKO’d but didn’t go down and said Wilder’s punches weren’t that impressive. Basically, it’s the fat dudes that handle the big shots better ... just like Ruiz took AJ’s most brutal stuff and stayed in the fight. Now, I know AJ’s no Wilder or Tyson, but I do rate his power near a Klitschko, so it’s still quite something Ruiz took it so well.

Andy went down pretty easy in the 1st fight and AJ wasn't pressing the issue in the rematch. We will see how good his chin is if Wilder needs a tune up.

Ortiz is not that great, what are his accomplishments?

Right. Nobody on here would rather take Wilders hardest shot over Joshuas. People can say they’d rather fight Wilder but they’re lying if they say AJ hits harder with his max.

I think everyone would rather take one shot off Joshua than one shot off Wilder.

But for most heavyweights it's a question of taking one off Wilder or 10 off Joshua. That's not quite so clear cut.

Yep ur exactly right. Just cause a guy hits the hardest it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the toughest fight. I think there would always be a better chance to KO Tyson than to KO Holyfield. Vitali never loaded up on his punches too much, but he could really put it on someone throughout the night. Prolly most likely to kill someone, even compared to Wilder. Of course there isn’t sum accurate measurement that’s ever been done, but it doesn’t mean anyone should be lit up for “guessing”’wilder hits harder than AJ at his best single shot.
