Wilder is the definition of having a punchers' chance. I undervalued him for his lack of Ring Generalship and clearly losing multiple rounds to non-elite fighters, but he is amazing.

He has great power, stamina, is explosive, and he carries it for 12 rounds. If his opponent loses focus, stamina, and/or is out of position when he detonates the right hand it's lights out.

At this point, Wilder can wait until the later rounds when his opponents' lose a step and be confident until the last bell. Whoever doesn't stop him before the last third is in for a tough ordeal.

Fury's a great fighter, extremely resilient, and has a great attributes to win against him. I pegged him for the win last time and he can do it again, but he tends to lose focus and Wilder will be there when that happens. We'll see...

Wilder hasn't improved since the Fury fight. He looked even worse but he got the tko, although the ref may have stopped the fight too quickly I think. Wilder would have won yes, but Bayless should have continued the fight.

        Stiverne I: Wilder UD12
        Stiverne II: Wilder KO1

        Ortiz I: Wilder KO10
        Ortiz II: Wilder KO7

        Fury I: Split Draw
        Fury II?

I think Fury is done being a serious boxer. I think Wilder knocks him out and Fury becomes a full time clown.

No, he didn’t take his best right hand. Rewatch the fight again. Fury rolled with the punch and was not hit squarely. Trust me, Fury gets the full brunt like Brazeale or Ortiz got it’ll be lights out.

Sound like a true casual. Guess you missed the feinting? The jabs? The check left hooks? The dodging of anything significant? The analyzing of Ortiz? The setting up with said feints? In fact it was a feint left jab that got Ortiz looking and a lightening fast straight right quickly behind it.

I truly wish more people who “claim” to know the game of boxing would actually sit and digest what they are watching and truly analyze what is taking place. Nope instead it’s just bloviating an opinion that is furthest from reality.

I agree with Ellerbe. Fury is finished, talking about retirement. He has no belief and is fighting and struggling against bums.

Wilder wins by KO within 8 rounds

A lot of what you say is true. I thought Wilder did great against Fury in terms of boxing skill. But the truth is Wilder still isn't fighting anyone that good. I still feel Wilder is untested at top level. We all know Wilder has a punch but fighters like Breazele and Ortiz are made for him. I need to see him against more top 10 fighters to make my decision.

Disagree with you dude . He set up the Ortiz ko with a double jab and not throwing wildly. He is being more patient , measuring and timing his opponent now .Fury is crafty but if he fight like he said he is going to do which is try and ko wilder fury will be the one taking a nap.

I know that Fury was knocked down several times in his carreer. But was he ever dazzed ? Even 12th round Wilder knock down did not make him wobble, he immediately proceeded to fight as it never happened.
