I timed a replay with a stopwatch and got 12.1 seconds from Ortiz hitting the canvas to the ref waving it off. Ortiz had his hands still on the floor, so you could add another 1/2 second even.

Don't want anyone to get hurt. But that was first fight hand wilder landed. It might have taken to 12 th for wilder to throw next one.
        Maybe should have let continue

It's moot point how well someone's doing against him when he has a power hack like that.
Normal circumstances don't apply with Wilder, someone could come along, out box him 10 rounds dropping him twice, and he's just got to land that one, Wilder wasn't very active last night, Ortiz was out boxing him by a country mile, it didn't matter though did it?

I still fancy Fury to beat him, gonna be so so hard though, regular boxing logic doesn't apply with power like that. All these debates on this site about Wilder using normal boxing logic.... Its all moot point, just observe and enjoy.

Worrying about 10 counts and split second differences here and there, it really doesn't matter, raw power like that doesn't care about people's opinions, there's 4 exiting heavyweights out there and they have been and will be all fighting each other, no ducking and farting about they all mean business, enjoy it instead of crying people! Jesus....

I do sometimes wonder if referees (unconsciously?) use body language to limit a fallen fighter's chances? Bayliss seemed to be standing right over him, so if Ortiz got up, he'd have to take an extra second to avoid headbutting the ref.

Did you count from when Wilder was in the neutral corner though?
