Wilder hits much, much harder than Tyson. Tyson has a lot more skill, but nothing that Wilder's power and height could not overpower. Wilder would beat Tyson every time. Old-timers will not want to face the truth on this. Ortiz would also beat Tyson.
I hate to say it, but I think Wilder would've beaten Prime Tyson

But Wilders knockout power is devastating.I had Fury winning the rematch in February but based on tonight's performance against Ortiz I now fancy Wilder.Ortiz schooled him for most of the fight then one punch and thats it.Im loving this thread. Every top fighter has fanboys and it seems the most deluded Wilder fan boys are running around with their bombsquad erections hard in this one. Hes refused to fight any of the top 10 prime Heavies in his own era but they back him to knock out all the ATG's in the divisions history.

The power is devastating there can be no denying that. Who knows with Wilder but with over 40 fights on his resume we can still safely say he hasnt faced enough of the top fighters in this current era to judge how he could do in other era's. Only 2 impressive names on his resume are still Ortiz and Fury. Ortiz is way past his prime and his own record doesnt suggest anything special and Fury beat him.
This has been my problem all along with Deontay Wilder. I believe he has enough to possibly beat any current Heavyweight but he hasnt even faced them even though hes had opportunities to face them all. Even this old version of Ortiz is a good fighter but its only Wilder fans proclaiming hes the 2nd baddest man in the division, His resume suggests not or he would of done more with his career.Comment

We know his resume what we are saying is can the past heavyweight legends take his right hand? they will get hit at some point. The power is devastating there can be no denying that. Tyson got floored against a guy with a 50% KO record so hardly a big puncher.Comment

Wilder got floored by some fat guy nobody has even heard of. Whats your point?
The past greats are all a hell of alot better than the likes of Szpilka, Washington, Ortiz, Molina, Duhuapas and they all managed to outbox and touch Wilder up before Wilder got his big right on them.
Could Wilder take Mike Tysons power? The chances are like all Wilder opponents they will land on him before he lands on them. Luis Ortiz is a million miles away from being an ATG. How you are comparing what Wilder did last night to the ATG's of the division is beyond me.Comment

Wilder doesnt need to improve the first Fury fight he was 10-12 pounds lighter than tonight so i assume he lost some muscle since he has no fat to speak of.
Fury wont get up if he gets caught by a fit 220 pound Wilder.Comment

Yeah. Possibly. Wilder is damn dangerous im not denying that. But a fat, unfit Fury beat him the last time they fought. What if Wilder doesnt land that one 220lb right hand clean? Then Fury wins by a landslide.Comment

Yep less clowning around by Fury and he wins the first fight!Comment
