This is obviously an ego thing. Lewis calls himself a mountain and Joshua a pupil and that explains why Lewis was trashing Joshua from the day Joshua turned pro. This is why Joshua will not reach out to this guy. These things didn’t start in the press, they started from the gym. Joshua had no problems with anyone, he learnt a lot from the Klitschkos and Larry Holmes and others who were not seeking relevance but are satisfied with what they achieved. Joshua talks to people like Floyd and even went to the USA and saw many people, he deals with David Haye and any boxer except Lennox Lewis. If you gonna come with an attitude it won’t work. Then there is a Jamaican- African issue at play. We know who is salty and can’t get Joshua’s name out of his mouth.

These British “fans” on this forum can be ultra nationalistic which is why they hate everything about wilder.....he is literally everything they hate.....and for a variety of reasons. They see Lewis as one of their own, british, but Lewis has always existed as a man of several worlds.....Jamaican, british, canadian, and American. He sees no need to “stay on code” as they want him to. Lewis is a man of the world yet who is very aware of what his REAL culture is and he has never turned his back on that. That’s why they don’t like Lewis, because they can’t tell him what to think and say.
