Lennox Lewis being asked a question about Anthony Joshua and giving an honest opinion is criticism in some people’s minds. Wow. Unbelievable. Good thing he didn’t pretend he was a god like some of Joshua’s fans do or he would look like an idiot.

Just let him be and control his career how he wants... stop hating Lewis

        Exactly

Why should AJ have to seek his advice ?

AJ should be forced to speak to every HW HOFer that is still alive.

What round did this happen in ? A video depicting such an act would be awesome !
He spent more time on the canvas than picasso.

The weird thing is I am sure Joshua is watching tape of Lennox to improve his fight game. Watching a fight and hearing what is going in the mind of the fighter are two different things. All fighters stand on the shoulders of the giants that went before them. "I did it my way" is simply not a reality except for the first man who did it.

In the same way a King never kneels in front of a serf, a Jamaican never kneels before a Nigerian.

              Lennox is 100% correct here.

Lewis needs to let it go, he was a great champ who would have mopped the floor with the current lot, but working with PBC and then showing your bias toward that promotional outfit made you lose credibility on this subject. He wasn’t trying to “Advice” Joshua, he was throwing shades at every opportunity, now that he got called a clown, he has since stopped and now he is trying to play the old wise head. He did the same thing to Tyson Fury, until Fury threatens to KO him. And where did his advice get David Price? Nowhere...

I wouldn't rush to say AJ is watching anyone but himself and Andy tapes. IMHO, there's little to learn from watching other guys fighting other guys

AJ was ok without these guys before the loss, he will be ok going forward.

The thing that I don’t hear mentioned much is that it’s deep rooted with Lewis. It goes all the way back to his early pro career. He wasn’t fully embraced by the British public like other Olympic champions as he won his medal for Canada. Bruno was always the favourite and Lewis hated that because he felt he should be supported more due to being a better fighter but it doesn’t work like that. Joshua is Britain’s darling even more so than Bruno and it strikes a nerve with Lennox. Besides all that I think Lewis is another great example of an extremely experienced hof fighter who doesn’t really give great advice and isn’t a very good analyst so I don’t think Joshua is missing out.
