Ronnie Shields LOST/ADMITS Haymon Pulls Strings for Fighters - CHARLO Crossing 2 DAZN

Why does Ronnie act naïve? He doesn't control Charlo, and Jermall has said he'd be willing to go to DAZN if the price is right. Haymon and Jermall talk. Why does Ronnie assume it has to go by him? He's just the trainer...

PBC fighters don't know how to think for themselves. That's why they need somebody like Haymon to think for them and tell them what to do.

Or they can think for themselves and decide to follow Haymon's suggestions because they saw how he took Floyd from a decent paid high risk, low reward boxer fighting in front of 500 people in a casino in Tunica, Mississippi, to the biggest earner in the history of the sport headlining PPV's infront of a sold out arena in the largest casino in Las Vegas.

You need to give Mayweather more credit. It was his personality that polarized fans and made them tune in to his fights. You also have to give De La Hoya credit for giving Mayweather the platform to become a household name. Haymon definitely maximized Mayweather's profits, but he didn't make him a star. Mayweather made himself a star.

I was talking more about backing his move from TR, the deal he put in place where Floyd got part of all the revenue from merchandise sales (including concessions sold at the fight) and the deal he negotiated with SHO.

I do get your point though even though IMO It's hard to give ODH credit given he wouldn't fight him for so long and ultimately only did because he saw the earning potential once Floyd embraced the money persona.

Good post. Haymons entire rise to power was thanks to Floyd. Floyd made Haymon, not the other way around.

Haymon squandering, spence, cruz, thurman, dsg etc just shows the guy is weaksauce in the atg/superstar making game. Thurman, cruz, dsg were on that hype machine when with gbp.

Be honest, you have no idea what Haymon did before he started working with Floyd?

Floyd, Floyd, Floyd, Floyd .... that literally is the only argument Haymon fanboys ever use to justify every damned thing he and his fighters do, or don't do!

Haymon is a genius because .. Floyd.

Or maybe Floyd was the genius? A superbly talented fighter with a huge chip on his shoulder and a unique way of letting everybody know about it, who happened to hit his prime at the right time, and in the right place, to catch the imagination of the US mainstream and, via that exposure, became a worldwide celebrity?

Yes Kafkod, fighters go with promoters/managers they see have been successful with other fighters. Disgustingly biased. Can Loma think for himself or did he go to TR because Bob had success with other fighters?

Haymon is a genius because of the success he had prior to Floyd and the deal he crafted for Floyd that made him hundreds of millions. That is why fighters sign with him, not because they can't think for themselves.

Your post was dumb as *****.
