Eddie Hearn decides there won't be VADA testing for Chavez vs. Jacobs

It's sad to see this but you can imagine the dialogue.

Jacobs: This guy is a piece of shiz, but i'm getting well paid for it and I could beat him with 1 arm tied behind my back anyway. Go ahead without the testing

I'm hear less and less about "VADA TEST" on top of WBC seeming to now set rules for testing on their own

Also VADA not allowed to release result until I guess Promoters, Belt Organizations, Fighters or whoever wants to release those Positive Results

Also VADA has ZERO Power so failing a VADA Test really don't mean much because they don't have the Power to Suspend fighters or anything

yea they do seem a bit toothless

never been convinced that they are better than USADA, but other than Mayweather nobody really tested until VADA came along... VADA seemed to be more affordable

the situation with Brandon Rios raised some questions for me

Mike, just FYI,that was a choice of VADA not the fighters.On 7th Nov both fighters signed the paperwork for full VADA testing.Disappointingly VADA said they would not test Chavez so the Commission appointed Drug Free Sport (clients include NBA and NFL) to undertake random testing

There was no VADA testing for Pacquaio vs Thurman.

That was reported extensively so you must know about it. 2 Haymon fighters in a world title fight, and no VADA testing. Was that Haymon's decision?

This is the biggest bit that bothered me about VADA. We saw Yildrim fail their test recently under the WBC "Clean programme".....And the WBC cleared him to face the PBC fighter (Benavidez) as a mandatory.
