    Looking forward to this rematch - Ortiz looking in decent shape and should have enough skill to give Wilder a fight for a few rounds.
    Firmly believe that Ortiz knackered himself rather than being genuinely hurt by Wilder last time - he just looked exhausted rather than beaten up.

    Wilder should still have enough to win, but it’s not a bad match up.

      Ortiz rejected the opportunity that Ruiz Jr grabbed with both hands. He could have been putting the final touches onto a different rematch altogether right now, and then looked to fight Wilder with all the belts on the line - arguably being the A-side due to having more titles. Oh well life is all about decisions, and Ortiz isn't the only one who should be thinking "what if?" Apparently up to 16 different fighters were looked at, I wonder how many of them turned down an offer like Ortiz did before Ruiz pleaded his case? Let's not forget Miller either, he must wondering why he was such an idiot.

        Luis Ortiz came to Europe and looked like absolute trash against Malik Scott and Dave Allen. He stunk the place out against cherry picks. Eddie Hearns gave him the opportunity and he totally bombed.

          Math 101

          Eddie offered 7 million verbally

          PBC offered 10 million previously w Wilder

          Why would a prize fighter take 3 million less

          Why did Eddie purposely low ball his offer... again...bad pattern

              Wilder isn't really giving a true account of the facts here. It's not that nobody in the top 5 tried to face Ortiz, it's that

              "nobody in the top 5 was willing to offer Ortiz 10m to fight them".

              You could quite easily spin it the other way;

              "Ortiz wasn't willing to fight anybody in the top 5 for less than $10m" Which is quite ridiculous when the dudes best and only decent win is Bryant Jennings, years ago and highest payday was 500k.

              Now please don't misunderstand, I think it's a freaking great fight and I can't wait to see it! I just think Wilder isn't being entirely representative of the facts

                Laboured to a points win against Scott in a horrible fight. Lumbered around looking like a crude club fighter against Allen (a novice), before the ref got bored and stopped the fight. The crushed some American tomato can (Martz). Hardly deserving of a title shot. Wilder would have us believe the man is a killer, but that form is laughable.
