Ortiz looks like the training camp was for real. The man passed on a bigger payday from Joshua's team as the first choice to replace Miller because this was the fight he wanted. I like Ortiz. I wish his PED past had not happened, but I like his boxing style. This is his Super Bowl, his Final Four, his last shot at the crown. He is all in.
I think most of us realize Wilder should win. But this is true: Wilder has been talking about Ruiz/Joshua. He has been rating his KO's up to now. He is all shades of obsessed by Tyson Fury and his WWE antics and other sideshow shenanigans. But Ortiz has been solely focused on Wilder. This could be a sneaky great fight so long as Ortiz leaves it all in the ring. I do not hate his chances at an upset.
