Ortiz looks to be in better shape for this one. But Wilder is as well- remember Wilder had the flu in the first fight and came in at a career low weight at the weigh-in.

This is going to be a great fight. I got Wilder by Ko. But think it'll be just as difficult as it was the first fight.

I like Ortiz. But it’s a tall ask to beat Wilder. I don’t think any currently active boxer can beat the present version of Wilder EXCEPT for the Fury that beat Klitschko or the Kownacki that beat Areopagus.

Ortiz is going to be doing push ups, sit ups and squats in the rematch.

Maybe this will help his stamina as that was his problem in the first fight

There are two things that stand out for me. The first was that Wilder was reportedly badly under the weather for the 1st fight and the second was that Ortiz apparently had a shorter training camp.

This time, he will have a full camp and Wilder (as far as we know) has a clean bill of health. I still expect Wilder to get the win because he will catch Ortiz at some point but if Ortiz boxed how he did up to round 5 where he started fighting fire with fire then that's his best chance.

I can't believe how many fans are accepting his excuses. He had flu (no way). If he actually had the flu (influenza) he'd be dehydrated because of sweating, probably he'd be dizzy and weak there's no way he had proper flu. He probably had a cold or had just gotten better from flu at worst. He just makes these excuses but in reality he is a crap fighter, he got rocked because Ortiz is a more skillful fighter than him and Wilder throws illegal and uncontrolled punches which leave him open. The only thing saving him is his power. He made excuses for the Fury fight as well "I was anxious to land a big punch" (paraphrasing). Yeah he was anxious for that because that's the only way he can win. Fury just as Ortiz was winning him on points only difference is when he dropped Fury he didn't stay down. Fury should have won that match. I'm interested to see how he'd manage with AJ or Dubois both very powerful (powerful enough to knock wilder out) and skillful.

You Joking me, you're right Ortiz isn't Joshua, Joshua would have finished the Job, don't get it twisted Joshua may have lost his last fight but he did so against a much more skilled fighter than Wilder and I believe he was concussed. I would agree that Ortiz is more skillful than Joshua and has a better chin, but Joshua is much fitter and more powerful. Joshua is one of the few that could come close to Wilders knockout power and I believe a power shot from Joshua would be enough to knockout Wilder. Now I'm not saying Joshua is altogether better than Ortiz but I just believe that he would be more capable of beating Wilder. Styles win fights right.

                    Ortiz is an inspiration

hope the best for Ortiz. My opinion and my opinion only, he will lose however he has realized a dream in America that Cuba could never give him. Best of luck to both men, I hope they are both healthy after the fight. Wilder by knockout. Hope it's in exciting fight.
