Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz Puts Final Touches on Career-Best Physique For Wilder

The final touches have been applied to his training camp, and Luis Ortiz couldn't be more thrilled with the results. The 40-year old Cuban southpaw physically appears to be in the best shape of his near-10 year career as he heads into his upcoming rematch with unbeaten heavyweight titlist Deontay Wilder (41-0-1, 40KOs). The pair of familiar rivals collide once again this Saturday, live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As the fight approaches I get more enthusiastic. Ortiz is looking good in his videos and pics. I think this sequel shows a lot of promise, regardless of Luis’s age.

Damn this man must be close to, or past, 50 years old. Beat Cojanu and Kauffman, and got a gift against Christian Hammer. This ain't gonna be pretty folks. Why don't they just roll the clock back a little more and claim he's 30?
