Looks like he has taken a trip to Marquez's chemist.

        Ortiz by upset

Wilder in my opinion escaped with the tko victory in the first fight. Ortiz is a better boxer. He just lost his poise....and felt Wilder's power. I think he'll fight a better fight this time around. Wilder still has flaws. He will get knocked out in the rematch.

Won't help. Wilder wouldn't have taken the unnecessary rematch if Wilder didn't know he's going to KO Ortiz more easily than last time. He figured something out and wants to display it. I reckon a shorter more one sided fight regardless of Luis's adjustments.

Upset is the key word. If Ortiz wins I'll be upset.

this is not a good pay per view. the undercard is garbage, teh main is garbage. luis ortiz is very, very old.

but sure, i'm mad about the ratings on television of a boxing promoter. doesn't have anything to do with, you know, the reality that i just explained to you.

luckily the rest of the boxing world sees this for what it is. big fights are not happening because of promotional ties, and this is the crap left over. styles make fights and it will be exciting, but so was a gatti fight. doesn't mean he belonged on pay per view.
I would really like to see this fight as well as the Ruiz, Joshua rematch. However I'm not willing to pay to see either. What I would pay to see is Clemson against Ohio or LSU in the college playoffs.

I think the only thing Ortiz can change in his approach is to put the pressure on Wilder from the opening bell. He certainly can't change his style since by now it is ingrained. I expect Ortiz to pretty much go for broke early on and that actually is a good idea for him. If it doesn't work then he's toast.

He probably had a cold or had just gotten better from flu at worst. He just makes these excuses but in reality he is a crap fighter, he got rocked because Ortiz is a more skillful fighter than him and Wilder throws illegal and uncontrolled punches which leave him open. The only thing saving him is his power. He made excuses for the Fury fight as well "I was anxious to land a big punch" (paraphrasing). Yeah he was anxious for that because that's the only way he can win. Fury just as Ortiz was winning him on points only difference is when he dropped Fury he didn't stay down. Fury should have won that match. I'm interested to see how he'd manage with AJ or Dubois both very powerful (powerful enough to knock wilder out) and skillful.
I believe Wilder really had the flu. Probably didn't make the difference he thinks it did but he did have it.

After watching the first fight last night, I can’t see Ortiz pressuring Wilder any more than he did. If he does, he gasses early. I don’t care what his conditioning is like. But maybe you’re right. Maybe he has to burn his bridges and go for an early KO.

Ortiz is a smart boxer. I don't see him going for broke.
He has to fight cautiously because he didn't see them coming from Wilder last time.

Obviously anything can happen given how close he came last time.
Most probable outcome s another KO by Wilder, if I had to bet.
But won't be surprised if the other way around.
