would have handled GGG for sure but you gotta question that comment for a man who just went up to LHW and won at title level. It wouldnt be straightforward either way.

GGG was useful only for putdown fodder against Groves.

If he is serious...anybody who can be thoroughly outboxed by ole Taylor for 11 rounds is never really going to keep Canelo at the end of anything. Him and Kessler were a perfectly balanced match up, there is a reason Kessler isn't saying he would handle Canelo, or GGG!
yuh but canelo koed like taylor isnt going to win either.

If he fought the Golovkin from 2014-2015, Froch would've lost. Canelo beats him too.

Well the time that "talks" for that fight were happening were in those years. I bring that up because people bring up his performances at 35+ years old as to why he would lose these fantasy match ups. If we're having fantasy fights, surely you'd want both guys to be at a more optimal age. Golovkin didn't start showing signs of slipping until 2016 so like I said, if the Froch fight happened in 2014 or 2015, I'd go with Golovkin.

Froch would have kicked GG, Canelo, and kovalev’s ass.

Which is why he "swerved" Golovkin like the plague (Froch's own words here)

                and....why Froch never moved up.

Also why Froch preferred to stay in the UK and loved his home cooking.

                    observations:

Golovkin needed a catchweight to fight Steve Rolls, and has never considered 168... despite having potential opponents who are a LOT easier than Carl Froch

every opponent hits Golovkin with their best shot

                    Golovkin was timid/unassertive with Canelo/Jacobs

Froch was a BIG super-middleweight, and Golovkin is NOT Andre Ward lol

                    Froch was a dog

IF, Golovkin actually took that fight... and that is a big 'IF' imo... I think he would go life-n-death with Froch and probably lose

based on his step-up fights to date with Jacobs Canelo and Derevyanchenko... there is nothing to indicate that Couldakin, Wouldakin, Shouldakin... could have beaten Froch

I would back the brit in that matchup

that is still the most accurate post in this thread

there is nothing to indicate that Golovkin would have taken that fight

he never did anything like that

and there is nothing to indicate he could have won

he never did anything like that either

the guy who went life-n-death with Danny Jacobs, would not beat Carl Froch

                    just saying

nanana.... like I said, he had the ability to ko ONE crap titlist Lemmy at the height of his powers, as his best capability.
This is no indication of how he would do against an elite, the next level.
