good question. And self explanatory id say. I only really give him one good win and that was against 39-40 yrs old Ortiz that had him nearly gone. He just said that Fury hasnt beat anyone except 39yr old Wlad...And Wilder hasnt beat anyone but 39yr old Ortiz. p4p...Wlad vs Ortiz? lol
Okay i gotta say that Wilder has grown on me! However...

I like Wilder, man, sure he's probably a KO waiting to happen but as long as he keeps getting there first what does it matter? Dude brings it and he's fun to watch... yeah, he can be outboxed, but it takes someone pretty damn special (like Fury) to do it for 12 without getting KTFO. All it takes is one mistake.Comment

damn. Calling anyone who doubts Wilder a dumbazz. Calm down bruh. count to ten. That thought goes both ways ya know. The thing about the johnny come lately fans is they never give up on their past bull****. They're all the same, I like what I see now that I am paying attention but back when my focus was on another and I only had a passing interest in Wilder I didn't like him much or at all and I still blame him for that.
The division was weak before Wilder even debuted. The division was scared to fight one another before Wilder debutted. The division was lousy with drug cheats before Wilder debutted. Somehow a bunch of *******s who have a history of avoiding unbeaten fighters while still getting popped for PEDs get a free pass while Wilder is blamed for every problem the division ever had.
Then y'all start paying some attention and are like " He isn't so bad, I like that he doesn't want a WBC-F, I like that he's always talking about big fights, I like that he's interested and speaks more to talking about undisputed than any other prime HW, I like that he isn't prescripted.
Wilder's been the exact same since 2012. Exact same.
I don't give a ****, johnny come lately gets no respect, y'all too ****in' late. It's like arguing about whether or not you're gonna crash until after the crash then you say " Damn we did crash but I wasn't driving like ****" **** y'all.
Wilder has a piss poor resume because clowns like Fury, who still avoids top competition, avoided Wilder for years. Peter himself said Wilder-Fury is too dangerous for Tyson to risk. Somehow Wilder's fault.
Remember when Wilder was going to get KO'd by the first top ten he faced? Remember he was avoiding top tens because they'd all bust him up? Then what happened? But now I'm meant to respect y'all opinion? The narrative was not look at this obvious bruiser right here about to tear a division that's scared of its own shadow a new ******* when he finally gets his break, nope, it was he's avoiding, even though he was the one doing call outs, bums with rank because he's that bummy.
Remember when Bermane was going to expose Wilder? You know, when Stiverne got a delay to the fight so he could be champion a little longer what narrative was spun of it? That's right, y'all said Wilder was delaying.....even though Bermane asked for more time and Wilder made videos about how he needs to man up and get in the ring it was Bermane who was itching to expose a man.
Remember when Povetkin, who already had a history of avoidance, failed three drug tests for two different drugs? Wilder's fault.
Been this bull**** dumbass excuse riddled nonsense since the kid debutted, I don't want to hear any " I've seen some light" nonsense. All yer saying to me is you was a dumb**** then when you argued vehemently against me and you're a dumb**** now for not putting 2&2 together.
Been here the whole time telling y'all dumb****s you're wrong. You should have been excited to see him against a top ten and pushed for it, not against it. You should have wanted Bermane to be ktfo not Wilder, duh. You shouldn't have ever given a **** about a leftover eater like Povetkin who has a history of avoidance and playing time.
Y'all acted like Martin, Parker, and Takam were worth bragging about.
Y'all still talk like Tyson's beaten someone other than old as **** Wlad, and, ducked the rematch.
The truth is y'all dumb asses who get caught up in promotion rather than seeing what is plain and obvious.
He will go 50-0 and when he does not one of you mother ****ers will say **** about me having told you since 2012.
Y'all gave me **** for Money, where is he now? Gave me **** for Dre, where is he now? Wilder's just the next in what I always thought was a clear as day pick.
Wilder had to grow on people. Even the hardcore fans. As well as the public. He doesn't have that gifted talent like a Loma has. A talent you can see. Hes a windmill street fighter that is conditioned as an athlete. Hes only in a eye opening interest fought two fighters of quality. Ortiz and Fury
and According to you neither one of them have fought anyone of worth except Fury by beating Wald at 39. If thats true what you say. Then How good is Wilder? Before them two a 39yr old Ortiz who clearly had him almost out and Fury who clearly out classed and boxed him ...who else? Nothing but bums. Building up a record like a lot of fighters do but fighting NOBODY of quality. People are supposed to talk shlt about that.
Look Wilder isnt at all the TRUTH of the HW division. At all. He is a punch away from getting hurt bad. How he bounces back is gonna be the next thing. Lets hope its not a bum fighter that puts him down. Thats can hurt a mans rep for sure. Ortiz hasnt fought any better opposition. But he is a better boxer tech wise. Wilder and Ortiz is a good match up. Fury is right there with the same back ground. Except he did take the titles from the king of the division. Clearly.
Wilder is growing on me only because win or lose he is there to fight and put on a show. To remain relevant. And doesnt care who he fights. Youre right...he is the same. Hes riding this wave as long as he can because he knows its coming. His handlers knows its coming. He has Ortiz Fury Ruiz and AJ to face. I like the dude. When before i didnt like him as a human lol. Doesnt mean hes a great HW.Comment

I was being a prick this morning
Let me give you a more digestible, concise, and respectful take:
It really seems like for quite a long time a lot of fans had a strong opinion even though they were not really following all that closely. Now that he's a star folks want to follow him more closely and continue to act like they're not just star chasers. Like there was a legitimate reason to hate, not be skeptical like you seem to be claiming, but straight up be hateful about his success, but, now, there is no reason to have such hateful feelings toward him achieving his goals.Comment

Yeah, I think we can agree this one doesn’t go to the cards. Loli dont know about easier. My biggest concern with Ortiz was the look on his face when he looked in his corner each time he got knocked down. Like wtf do i do? kinda stunned. Hes use to having that same seek and destroy manner that wilder has. When that gets taken from you its like someone stole your heart pride and butt ***ed you at the same time.
Ortiz still got heart though. He came back and beat up wilder in the 7th. He was spent. Now Ortiz and his conditioning coaches are doing things and preparing him for better conditioning. That can only help his stamina. But they need to prepare to get rocked. And fight on. If he hurts wilder. I think he will finish him this time. lol All i know is someone getting KTFO lol !
I saw a recent short vid of Ortiz working the mitts. He looked pretty good. Very quick for a big man, too. Saw a couple of pics where he looked more muscular than before. Not saying it means anything, just some observations.
I think this is going to be a pretty decent fight, if not a great one. Ortiz may be on the old side, but he’s still got some juice.Comment

yeah in a perfect world wed love to see the fury rematch or ruiz now instead of ortiz
but none of this is wilders fault...
ruiz beating AJ meant we were always going to have to see an AJ/ruiz rematch and wilder would have to do something in the mean time....and that fight was going to happen even if wilder and AJ had reached a deal to fight...
wilder wanted, and tried to make, an immediate fury rematch...wilder ran to TR and espn and bob arum admitted
they were putting off the wilder rematch for some time
yeah maybe wed rather see wilder/kownacki or something...but him not fighting ruiz or fury is entirely not wilders faultComment

Deontay Wilder is the most confident out of the big three, both Joshua & Fury have been shook up & dented.
It took awhile, but his personality has grown in my opinion 'Deontay Wilder'. In some ways as a fighter he is very ignorant 'But in a good way'. The manner in which he fights 'Reminds me of a badger' it is hard to describe. I don't think Wilder is massively durable physically, but his will to win gets him through some really tough patches. 'I have seen no fighter force Deontay Wilder off his game plan'.
People say Tyson Fury out boxed him 'All I saw was Wilder coming all night, he eventually penetrated Fury's antics and pretty much changed Fury's life in the process'. Since that 12th round knock down? Tyson Fury has been a changed man 'Since when has Tyson Fury been this uber dedicated athlete? Never. It was Deontay Wilder who sparked this change within him, because Wilder made him doubt himself'.Comment

Same here for you guys, hopefully you would finally accept that we are not all bum lickers like you guys. That everyone doesn’t force the agendas that you try to force on others. We all don’t eat from the same plate.Comment
