Okay i gotta say that Wilder has grown on me! However...

However....I still think hes a few punches away from getting KTFO soon. He does have that good mindset. He dont care about his 0. He does...but its not gonna change him. He earned much respect in the 1st fight with Ortiz. His heart kept him in that fight. It was great fight that showed his will. Props to him.

Although Ortiz punched himself out and loss that fight for that reason. Wilder kept his composer and Ortiz gave it all and gassed out. Mentally also. And i think wilder did great against a much superior boxer in Tyson Fury. A couple of knockdowns saved him. Tyson should have got the Win but hey i was ok with a draw even though i dont think it was that close. Im ok because neither ones stock went down.

I respect him more because i think he is sincere in his desire to the HW division and his passion to give fans excitement. He fought a ton of bums. Stepped up a few times and made it interesting. I do think he gets KOd by Ortiz this fight but he still fun to watch.

I like Wilder. He comes to fight and has a lot of heart. But I agree, he seems close to getting sparked himself. I think he beats Ortiz easier this time, but in the heavies, one good shot can end it. Luis still has that very real chance.

I'll admit it's taken me a while to really appreciate his style, just like even describing his style as "unique" instead of "undisciplined." And it's tough because he hasn't fought to many great fights (Fury and Ortiz being his best, but would you call those "great"?) so it's tough to really discern what is "skill" and what is "just cruising through". Tat said, I agree - he has heart and a good attitude, and seems to really care about what it means to be a heavyweight champ.

Wilder is a ****ing moron. Basic skills but his reach and power is the only reason hes gotten this far. Oh yeah and the HW division is trash

Yeah wilder is real likeable depending what setting you see him in
I liked the pbc thing they did for this Ortiz 2 fight where they filmed him.training in the gym.and.with his daughter.
He's lovely guy haha and his style is not textbook but.it works and he has real skills, he's not a bronze.medalist for.no.reason. his low weight so rare in boxing also at hw. Him And.fury are great. I like AJ its a shame he has very.little.personality and.comes across like.hes trying too.hard.or.hes unhappy or.just scripted. He's not very likeable AJ and it's not because he gets women I liked McGregor cos he was funny and doesn't give af, unscripted says what he thinks.. as a man we respect such traits. AJ is just bland...unseasoned like English food(I'm English, love a casserole)

At HW you are always just one punch away...unless you have an Oliver McCall like chin...every HW in recent memory that was worth a damn has/had a bad L on his resume.

I wish this fight wasn't PPV because the first one was great action imo...I would like to watch this one...will Ortiz be better able to deal with Wilder's power in a 2nd fight? Or is Wilder improving while Ortiz is getting older? Hard to say...I would favor the 2nd scenario...but I always liked Ortiz so wouldn't put it past him to come in again with a great performance.

That shot he hurt Wilder with in the 7th? round last time was not a huge shot...at at HW they don't really need to be...those dudes punch too hard and the human chin can only be so strong.

It's hard not to like Wilder, his entire gameplan is to go for the kill from the opening bell, and his Godly power makes up for his many boxing deficiencies. Ortiz had the fight in the bag and is stylistically all wrong for Wilder, but I think Wilder is going to blitz him on early this time.

I hate seeing him fight Ortiz again instead of rematching with Fury or fighting Ruiz.

                But that's boxing (today.)

I lost a lot of respect for him over the last 2 years. This was a guy that i defend and backed for years. But i cannot support his duckings. Whether he was made to duck those fights for political reasons or not, i really don't care. Just like i have lost respect for the way Luis Ortiz ducked Joshua.
