you'll hit harder as you put on weight if you were once hurting yourself to make a lower weight. how does that not make sense to you people?

the rub is that as you go up in weight, even though you'll hit a little bit harder because you won't be drained and you'll be a little heavier, you are theoretically fighting a more durable opponent!

canelo did not fight more durable opponents! golokvin has a terrific chin, one of the best in boxing. fielding has a flat out bad chin! he got stopped in one round by callum smith! and kovalev likewise had been in wars and didn't have nearly the chin left that he had in his prime. he'd been hurt by anthony yarde, stopped by eledier alvarez, shaken by ward shots in fight 2 that he ate up in fight 1.

pacquiao has been slowing down for 10 years now. what do you not understand? he had showed a marked decline as early as the cotto fight, when he started to have leg cramps and when he was literally looking at the ref to let cotto off of the hook late in the fight. he got rich, complacent, and his decade of wars and even some stoppage losses had caught up to him.

you're totally clueless if you don't understand that chavez jr has a hell of a chin and is far more durable than rocky f#cking fielding.

do you guys even watch boxing?
or do you let people tell you what to think and f#ck your girlfriend?

He's had 6 fights above 154 and got stoppages in 2 of 'em. Neither was against a dude known for having particularly robust whiskers.

Edit: Ahem. Whoops. I did, of course, mean above 155.

Common misconception about Pac's power diminishing. He maintained it. He was just never a KO puncher. The Hatton KO was just the perfect shot. The best punch hes ever thrown in his life and landed perfect (in the conversation for the best punch thrown of any boxer ever).

Look at some of the terrible beatings he has handed out that were presided over by sadistic refs.

Algieri should have been stopped- he didnt make the count and was KDd 6 times
Rios should have been stopped- he was taking flush combos and stopped smiling which indicated that he was badly hurt repeatedly. Garcia should have pulled him
Margarito obviously should have been stopped. He was obliterated. Another sadistic ref

Pac just has sick accuracy and snapping punches but no huge power. If those fights above were stopped as they should have been people wouldnt be talking about his power decreasing as he went up.

Canelo is obviously a roider though haha and Pac was too

And Manny still TKO’d a PRIME COTTO while Canelo could barely decision a past his prime over the hill Cotto.

what’s your point? Fielding is an absolute scrub, coming from a canelo fan. The facts are Canelo has only had 2 fights above 160, so you can’t really say his power increased.

Canelo lands a perfect, flush, uppercut counter on 140 lb Cotto's chin.

                    Didn't even stun him.
You do realise he wasn't fully committed to that punch? Unless you believe you can't throw a full weighted punch whilst retaining the balance required to duck the follow up punch.

Pac was stopping fighters until after the Cotto fight. Rumors started that he was on some PED.
