There's been precisely two official BWAA FOTD to date, man. Pacquiao and RJJ.
The Ring has Rosenthal's unofficial list, which might be more useful though. Let's have a look..

(Ring T V)
Please note that the comments on Floyd are Rosenthal's not mine. I know some dudes can get prickly about stuff like that.1910s: Sam Langford — Small man beat the best big men of his day. Runner up: Jimmy Wilde.
1920s: Benny Leonard — Some still say he’s the greatest lightweight ever. Runner up: Harry Greb.
1930s: Henry Armstrong — Held titles in three weight classes simultaneously. Runner up: Tony Canzoneri.
1940s: Ray Robinson – Untouchable as a welterweight. Runner up: Willie Pep
1950s: Ray Robinson – Also one of the greatest middleweights ever. Runner up: Archie Moore.
1960s: Muhammad Ali – The Greatest really was the greatest at this time. Runner up: Carlos Ortiz.
1970s: Roberto Duran – Virtually untouchable as a lightweight. Runner up: Carlos Monzon.
1980s: Ray Leonard: His victories over Duran, Hearns and Hagler were epic. Runner up: Julio Cesar Chavez.
1990s: Roy Jones Jr. – At his best, he inspired awe. Runner up: Pernell Whitaker.
2000s: Manny Pacquiao – Sorry Floyd but you need to fight the best to be the best. Runner up: Floyd Mayweather.
So. Often the guys in adjacent decades are in substantially different weightclasses so the proposition don't make much sense, but we can see that whilst Duran didn't actually beat the 70s FOTD it was because he in fact was the 70s FOTD and he did beat the 80s FOTD Leonard. And of course Ray Robinson was FOTD 40s and 50s (and beat 30s FOTD Armstrong), so anyone who beat him technically beat the FOTD from 2 adjacent decades which fits the criteria as you phrase it... dunno if that's what you were getting at though.
So yeah. There's 19 dudes who have done it if you're counting Rosenthals list (and I don't think it's massively controversial to consider SRR FOTD for the 40s and 50s even if I don't keep such a list myself), I think Joe Louis might be some folks first choice for the 40s though which would negate that number.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 11-11-2019, 07:29 AM.Comment

1895-1899 Jeffries cleared the HW division and unified the title with the pretense title.
1890-1899 Fitzsimmon whooped the p4p king Dempsey and went on to the HW crown dropping such greats as Maher along the way.
Really difficult choice that one, I reckon.Comment

Really there’s only 2 FOTD but if we go by the retroactive FOTD, Camacho has beaten 2 FOTD in Duran and Leonard.Comment

it's too bad floyd never won FOTD award... beating the FOTD doesnt really mean shiiet when you werent one yourself!!! that's like the lakers beating the raptors in the regular season and then bragging about how they just beat the championship team lol... it doesnt mean much when it werent done in the finals...Comment
