I think what makes PBC so good is that they have fighters from everywhere! They have Pacquiao, Dervy, Baranchyk, Stanionis, Ajagba, Kownacki, Ortiz, Lara, Castano, Eubank Jr., Badou Jack, Ugas, Lipinets, LSC, Rigo, and many more!

It's actually a real positive move in my book that PBC have been investing more in international fighters over the last few years.

They do have a kinda reputation as being the promotion of choice for Black Americans much as GBP are seen as first choice for Mexican Americans, but if they're really serious about becoming the premier US promotion they've got to be scouting out global talent and thinking about drawing in fans from across all ethnic and racial groups.

Ain't a bad thing at all to concentrate on home grown talent -they'll probably always be easiest to market in the US after all - but it's gotta be good to diversify too.

Actually all of 'em are pretty diverse, much more than I actually expected... obviously matchroom has more UK fighters, but the 3 US promotions don't really confirm to the stereotypes I'd expected nearly as much as I thought when you look at the full rosters. There's still a marked leaning amongst the top stars towards Black Americans for PBC and Mexicans/Mexican Americans for GBP, but I was happily surprised to see that overall all the promotions have been acquiring global talent.

I’m actually looking forward to Gamboa/Davis??? I just hope it’s at SFW instead of LW. This will be the most skilled boxer he’s fought so far.

I think they got that reputation because they were part of Floyd's rise to the top, but Haymon has signed international talent from the jump! I'm still upset we never got BJ Saunders vs. Avantil Khurtsidze! Salute to "White Tyson!"

Here's a FACT for you...

Andrade was never ever offered $10M to fight Canelo and Andrade immediately agreed to fight Canelo for millions less and waited months for Canelo to sign. Canelo was not asked to take less money to fight Andrade !! in fact he was offered $5M more to fight Andrade than the $30M they offered him to fight Derevyenchenko. Canelo took Kovalev instead and I don't know what he received for that one but probably the same as Andrade or LESS because they needed to pay Kovalev $12.5m instead of doing the deal for Andrade which would have saved DAZN millions! THAT'S A FACT

I didn’t screen shot it like I should have but Dan Rafael posted it. Too bad he doesn’t do his weekly chats or I would ask. But we do know Andrade was approved much later and funny thing he was added a few days after that twitter posts.
