Bro...I mean Canelo went 46 rounds or so with Jacobs, GGG, GGG and Kov...I think he beat Jacobs and KOed Kov obviously...but I legit have Canelo winning about 20 rounds in those 3 fights...he is a great fighter but showed he was a little better than Jacobs imo, a bit worse than GGG, and he picked a good matchup vs a faded Kov where he got to him late.

Great fighter but yeah not sure how one could be so pro Canelo and anti Kovalev or certainly GGG...and even Jacobs, you would have to have Jacobs pretty close to Canelo too really.

Ok well resume wise, even if I dont agree with the first decision, it was a close fight and Canelo as the best resume in boxing. I had him losing the Lara and GGG fifght but, hey, he still won them. I cant put someone else behind just because they look better beating lesser fighters. and trust me, I hope he gets beat soon.

Got ya...yeah for personal pfp I think you should call it like you see it, as far as what you see in the ring...for official pfp purposes of course the orgs are going to take the official results and go with those.

Only issue I have with Canelo's resume and those who tout it, are that imo Canelo going 12 with a faded Mosley or even Cotto, are not more impressive wins to me than beating a solid prime contender at their natural weight...I think Canelo has quite a few examples there of the name not exactly being a real version of that guy...tbh I am always surprised that even on a hardcore fan forum like this one, that so many fans on here over-rate those types of wins imo.

Fighting/beating those names helps in a way as you get exposure when you beat a guy with a name...but I would just think as fans who follow the sport closely, we would all just be able to admit/see that going 12 with Mosley at 40 years old and 154 is not really that great of a win....what you do in those fights matters for me as well...if he stops Mosley or Cotto etc then yeah that would be a bit more impressive.

Why do you accept the official scorecards?

If you believe he lost those fights, then you should be basing your opinion on that.

Boxing has a huge problem with bad or unfair results. Boxing fans know this, and boxing fans hate this happening.

So why would we turn around and accept it when it comes time to judge P4P?

A p4p #1 fighter should not be fixing his opponent’s weight.

Canelo isn't even the top dog in his division.

He lost both fights to GGG (which the whole non Latino world accepts) and he advanced cherry picked a fight against a top 10 LHW.

Who has Canelo beat? And I mean beat? Not asterisk asterisk asterisk beat on paper?
