Where's the proof suggesting otherwise?

Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Lol @ Johnson's quotes in the first pic you posted, he openly says he doesn't wanna fight. So who are we blaming for these fights not happening?

(PS. can't quote so many images at once.)

Bullshlt that Dempsey didn't have a promoter who had money waiting for him to take the bout. He ducked a legitimate contract and the money was proven to be present and waiting for him. He simply didn't want Wills.

Proof of the funds waiting for him EXACTLY when the contract stipulated.

Under the terms of the written agreement, the plain- tiff was to promote a public boxing exhibition in *545 Chicago, or some suitable place to be selected by the promoter, and had engaged the services of one Harry Wills, another well known boxer and pugilist, to en- gage in a boxing match with the defendant Dempsey for the championship of the world. By the terms of the agreement Dempsey was to receive $10, receipt of which was acknowledged, and the plaintiff further agreed to pay to Dempsey the sum of $300,000 on the 5th day of August 1926,

Are you ******ed or just plain slow? He said clearly he's not going to fight unless he's assured the fight won't be canceled by the commission. He has no control over whether they cancel it or not.

Just admit you are wrong and stop being a little bltch
