"White boyz just can't box joe frazia is king"
*Pro boxing is legalized in Eastern Europe and for a decade everything from 160 to heavyweight is almost completely white*
"I only watch the bantamweights, I watch for the skill"
*Asian fighters take over those divisions*
"I only watch (list of random divisions with black fighters in the top 5), that's where the real skill is"
so many laughs were had

I have no ****in' clue what that is meant to mean.
You racist or just got an issue with Jack? Just trying to understand the misinformation campaign you seem pledged to.
There's no dis*****g my proof. The story came from Fight Beat, who took it from the Brooklyn Eagle, who reprinted a Chicago Tribune article who explained and reprinted their explanation in the Meridien Daily.
that **** happened, it's right in my links.

What proof? I've seen it said many times that Jack Johnson refused to rematch Joe Jeanette or Sam Langford once he became World champion. There's also the up-and-coming Harry Wills' name thrown in there. Johnson made it plain he wanted to take on White folks for more money once he captured the title. Where's the proof suggesting otherwise?Comment

Ah, another thread by the never-ending stream of casuals here. Truth be told; Wills, McVea, Jeannette, and even Johnson were highly overrated. Johnson and Wills made a career of fighting much smaller men; look at Johnson's best wins--mostly middleweights and washed up fighters. Langford was the only great out of all of them.
Dempsey would have pummeled Wills. He signed two contracts to fight him and they never delivered the agreed upon money prior to the fight. Meanwhile, Wills ducked Tunney, lost to Sharkey, and then gets KTFO by some unknown Italian HW Uzcudun...and you casuals think he would have had a chance against Dempsey, LMAO! Dempsey made easy work of the guy who KTFO Johnson. It was Jack Johnson who backed out of a signed deal with Langford. It was Jack Johnson who drew the color line as HW champion and refused to give other black fighters a shot at his title.Comment
