Bro that belt wouldn’t do him any good anyways unless he cuts down to Cruiser weight or Light heavyweight. Face it he knows it so he’s trying to act all riteous

He already picks his own mandatories anyway and he only has to fight them on leap years.

He shouldn’t even be the owner of the belt right now, never mind Franchise champ

Fury will relieve him of that belt soon anyway

But seriously - and this is a first for me - kudos and respect to Wilder for what he said there.

Great talk from the bronze bomber....I don't understand the idea behind that belt.

True enough. But it's still good to hear one of their own champions calling out the WBC for their bullshit.

The 'Bronze-Bomber' is preserving the lineage of the WBC HW championship. Stripping Deontay Wilder of the WBC HW title stops Deontay from becoming undisputed and adding record title defenses ; which he has already equaled among ATG's.

The Gypsy-Bum Tyson Fury would jump all over the 'Franchise' position given that he never made a single defense of his titles, that responsibility and duty has been transferred to a real champion like Andy Ruiz.

This is a unprecedented move, ultimately its the boxers that control the sport, you cant crown nobody champion in a board-room, the honor is earned in the ring.

One champion, One face, One name.
