Why wont Canelo fight Beterbiev next?

Canelo protectors now saying Kovalev was the best at 175, so why not go and offer Beterbiev $14m to fight Canelo? It will be easier, right Oscar? Beterbiev is not as good as Kovalev.

Is the real reason because Beterbiev won't throw the fight for $14m because he's not ready to cash out and he does not have two female assault victims henpecking him for million dollar settlements?

Because Bieterbiev is not going to stand back and jab. He's going to try and maul Canelo. Canelo is going to hit him but he's going to get hit in return. Canelo's proven to have one hell of a beard but I don't think he would want to trade with Bieterbiev too much nor would he have the gas tank to stay on his bike the whole fight.

I’m staying out of the politics of this, but we know that Beterbiev is built like a soldier and hits like a LHW version of Deontay. It’s a big risk for Canelo and his team to take. There’s other lower risk fights out there that would look just as good for him if he wins. I expect them to go with those instead.
