Best Next Opponent for Canelo -- Charlo, Andrade, Callum, BJS, Bivol, SOG?

I want to see him fight Saunders or Andrade

He’s never faced a real slick boxer since he got a gift v Lara, so I’d like to see him with that style but he will avoid it. Some might say Jacobs was but he’s a lot more orthodox and basic than those two when it comes to style.

I’d have to watch it again to say which rounds specifically

I know I had it close for Lara. I could see 6-6 but that would be being generous to Canelo , trying to give him rounds

There’s no way Canelo won the majority of the rounds in that fight. It wasn’t one sided of course but he didn’t win that fight.

Anyway that’s not the point, the point is Canelo really used to struggle with that kind of style, win or lose, so I’d be interested to see how Canelo today would fight against Saunders or Andrade or someone like that, rather than a typical orthodox opponent that fights in straight lines.

I suggest that you embrace it... jump on board... it's "Combat Sports" now, Boxing and MMA, MMA and Boxing. It's here. Everyone (fans) should cross-over to the other sport.

There's no clear-cut next opponent... put together a bout with Jorge Masvidal between now and Cinco de Mayo, just while we're waiting for a "serious" opponent to emerge.

... it's just a thought.

(My choice would be Andre Ward, for the record)
