If they fought now at 160 I would pick Canelo by easy early KO. Mayweather was great in his prime but this is now not 10 years ago. A prime active excellent 29 year old middleweight who may now be too big for middleweight going against a 42 year old smallish welterweight Mayweather who has been retired for about two years is not a fair fight. It's a silly mismatch that will never happen. Mayweather knows what he can and cannot do and he does not take fights he is not sure he can win. Mayweather would never take a fight with Canelo now at 160. He would be crazy to do so. He does not need money being the richest of all boxers and being undefeated is important to him.
