What makes people believe Arthur Beterbiev easily beat Canelo?

I think Bivol gives him a harder fight and I think Canelo would beat Beterbiev. Beterbiev is a pressure fighter with no jab and can't fight on the back foot which plays in Canelo hands. Canelo usually fights well against pressure fighters with no jab. The only question is if he can handle Beterbiev's power and if Canelo has power to earn his respect. Plus he's like 34 years old. I put money on Canelo to win.

Canelo can not handle Beterbiev’s power. The question is can he avoid Beterbiev’s power long enough to do serious damage of his own. Too risky I think but it’s a fight I’d like to see.

Beterbiev can fight on the inside. That’s always been Kovalev’s weakness

If you've seen Beterbiev fight, you'll see he adapts and changes his style based on who he is fighting. He has a huge amateur pedigree, fighting and beating guys there that are considered to be huge names now (Fought Usyk, Beat Kovalev twice, Beat Gvozdyk twice) he does a lot of things that are missed if people don't watch for them.

He isn't just a come forward plodder with no head movement like is being suggested on here. And he's a lot more than just power.

            Yeah you got a point.
But he's not young either, I feel like Canelo's chin and age will give him the edge if it was a close fight.

I see Canelo giving him problems.. too slick

Beterbiev can fight slick as well, he showcased surprising head movement when he moved up and fought a much bigger Usyk in the ams.

Beterbiev lives up here and trains up here. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who lives up here and loves boxing that hasn't been saying that Beterbiev was 175 goat for a while now. People are just starting to take notice.

And no, he's not young. He's 34. But he doesn't have many miles on him. The way he walked through Gvozdyk's power punches showed that pretty well.

I've seen both of them fight.

In all seriousness, Nelo looked good last night...but I feel Kovalev has probably slipped more than we realize, as far as punch power and punch resistance...I think Beterbiev or even another formidable 175 fighter may be too much for Nelo at this time.

Because Beterbiev's pride and skill will not allow Canelo to put him on a contract.

Beterbiev has a fine jab. It's strong and effective and has dropped men. It may not be world class stick like Kova's but it's solid.

He was outjabbing Gvozdyk for the first half of the fight until he tried to turn up the pace on him
