    War Canelo
When Floyd faced Canelo, he was 37yrs old and 150lbs, Canelo was 23yrs old and 165lbs.

Floyd has been overachieving for the past several years of his career, but that whole time I feel people took it for granted and nitpicked his opponents.

He wasnt even supposed to be beating guys that big and young in such convincing fashion. He was literally walking these big ass dudes down, it never appeared to anyone that this shouldnt be possible, and he rarely got touched.

Wrong. Besides it's not even uncommon for Mexican fighters to have little or no ammy experience. Canelo has been boxing since he was a young child, he turned pro as a teenager. He wasn't some raw rookie that just happened to land a fight with Floyd on sheer chance.

But I seriously want to ask how many fights you think Canelo would have needed before he was ready to face a 36 yr old Floyd Mayweather?

              Bingo.

Canelo hit his prime in the last year and he’s in it right now.

At 23 Canelo was not prime and his record shows that. No way does he fight G at 23 he wasn’t ready yet.

Dude, are you serious? You can't compare the level of competition each had fought up to the point they fought each other. Mayweather had been fighting champions and contenders for 15 years, Canelo for 3, come on man.

Floyd is so gifted that it boggles people's minds. Drives them insane. Watch Floyd vs. Canelo again. Have you ever seen Canelo miss that much in his whole career? Then there's the Floyd vs. Marquez fight. Shit was crazy. He made a legend of the sport look like a complete novice.

Truer words have never been spoken

Canelos career is simply showing just how great Floyd was compared to the rest
