He moved up move weight and beat the best 175 guy of the decade by KO. Floyd has good wins but never to that distinction. If he beat prime Manny maybe he’s higher but he avoided the real challenges. Picking a novice Canelo and weight draining him is a prime example.

Floyd never lost and Floyd beat them both head to head.

Both lost and have many controversial wins. Pac v JMM 3 was a LOSS, was KTFO in 4th fight, LOST to Horn, and refused drug testing for years.

Canelo either drew or barely edged Lara and GGG in rematch. Either lost 7-5 or drew in 1st GGG fight.

And BOTH Pac and Canelo lost cleanly to Floyd. Floyd was 36 and 37 years old during those fights. Incredible

People really oughta leave all this ATG nonsense to the historians of the future to argue over. Whole debate's pretty meaningless anyway in my book - I mean how the hell can you tell with any exactitude who should be considered greater between say Greb and Monzon, or Duran and Benny Leonard? What criteria do you use? What metrics? All you end up with is a mess of subjectivity anyways, and when you're talking about modern day fighters it's infinitely worse because of fan attachment or antipathy to particular dudes.

Just watch the boxing and enjoy the fights and let the dudes on the history section 40 years from now chew over who should be ranked where in ATG lists and all that angels on pinhead stuff.

Floyd is the most accurate, least hit, never been on his @ss, never been dominated, never lost, beat him head to head, has a better record vs common opponents, beat 24 champions. How is it possible that Manny is greater? You guys slay me. LOL.
