If Canelo beats Beterbiev, you will just say he's old (e.g. 34)

Canelo is the new Mayweather. After every win they say it’s not good enough and make excuses, then they say they’ll never fight so and so and when he does they’ll say it was cherry picking.

Agree 100%. Instead of giving props fools on this site just whine. Boxing fans are the worst

Difference is Beterbiev is undefeated and just destroyed Gvozdyk, a high level champion. The guy is a freaking monster who will do a lot of harm and damage to Canelo.

The same way he shrugged off Gvozdyk's punches too....

So there goes the theory that Beterbiev is chinny....
Not chinny, not at all. But he can be beaten. Canelo is not Johnson, and if he catches Beterbiev as he caught Kovalev last night, he's not going to leave him off the hook.

Still, I'd favor Beterbiev to win - slightly.

In fact I still would pick Beterbiev to win, by a hair though. Say what you want about Canelo - I'm not a fan of him - but he's effective when it comes to closing the show. Should he manage to floor Beterbiev, I don't think he would give him time to recover as Johnson did.

Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration.

Sorry but I’ve never seen Beterbiev hurt
All the times he was knocked down they were flash knockdowns
And don’t forget , Beterbiev will be hitting for real , even if he has to eat three to get you with one
And in reality , Canelo hasn’t been really tested ( Beterbiev hits a lot harder than Kovi )

I can already see the excuses.

"Beterbiev took a dive. I'm done with this sport."
