That was the most bizarre world championship fight I have ever seen in 25 years. Kovalev Pitter Pat's Canelo for 11 rounds, and then does a stutter step and gets iced. DAZN has $365 million dollars invested in the Mexican, so I really didn't see him losing tonight. Kovalev really did earn that 10 million dollars he got paid tonight, didn't he 😝

A shot Kovalev just won 7 out of ten rounds and before anyone says it, no Canelo damn sure didn't out land him. That was some of the worst punch stats ever. He probably got out landed 2-1.
That said, that's how you finish a fight. Canelo sensed that Kovalev was stunned and his youthful reflexes got on that mark with a swiftness. Well done.
Don't forget, many, many all time greats were already shot at 36 too.

If it wasn't fixed then hey props to Canelo on his win but Kova was absolutely shot to chit based on that awful performance..

Canelo has to be looked at as an all time great now. Too many great wins now to overlook. Sure, he’s gotten the benefit on the cards in some close fights, but his resume holds up. He’s got a good 6 or 7 years left in his career. His fight card is pretty ridiculous already.

He actually said after the fight that he plans to go back down to 160. Says a fight with GGG does nothing for him but bring money so it's a maybe to him.

This fight tonight looked orchestrated. It was weird. Just the way the fight played out didn't sit well with me. I was thinking it looked orchestrated before the KO happened. Not sure what to think of this one. I wanted Canelo to win for sure. It's better for the sport if Canelo wins. But the whole fight from beginning to end, don't know but something doesn't sit well with me.

After seeing Porter hold his own against Spence anything is possible in boxing!
