5-1 Kovalev...probably a 10-8 round for Canelo on the official cards. Also, LOL at Mannix trying to defend round 5 for Canelo with his yellow swing round nonsense.

i like brian kenny and i want him to be good at calling fights, but he really is awful. he doesn't know what's going on. he shoudl just call it blow by blow.



that cut on esparza was the worst i've ever seen in a boxing ring. for sure. i can't believe it went on for that long.

Let's start the scoring..
1-0 Kov due to activity. Canelo landing a few nice shots to get Kov's attention. Feeling out round.
1-1 Canelo, very close could go either way. Canelo landeda few really good shots, while Kov's jabs were mostly blocked. Canelo's had a ton of practice with blocking jabs w G and Danny.
2-1 Kov. Canelo landed a few nice catchy shots, but most of the round was dominated by Kov. Got a few good counters in as well. He's throwing a LOT of punches though.
2-2 Canelo. Asserting dominance through timing.
3-2 Kov. Close round, both guys missing a ton of punches. Kov wins through activity. I like buddy giving Kov breathing exercises.
3-3 Canelo. Canelo with really nice counters. Kovalev landing nothing, output slowing down. His jabs are losing steam, a lot of feeling out shots.

I agree with this posts. Evey body hated Canelo here. Nice to see a fair score card.

I think most of you here are on crack with your 4-0, 5-0 scores for Kovalev

Amazing scorecards in this thread.

Kovalev is doing next to nothing. Jabbing gloves. Throwing 1 right hand per round.

And Canelo is throwing and missing. Landed jabs > Missed power swings.
