hes only 29 but hes been a pro since 15. he has over 50 fights. how much sense do you make?

He might have been a pro for a while, but he is now in his physical prime dude...that's my point. How can anyone say he waited for GGG to get old when Canelo is now in his prime. People should say that everyone wanted to get him early, like Floyd, when he was not in his physical prime.

It was a cheery pick for Mayweather because Canelo was 1/2 the fighter he is now. Canelo has improved immensely since then. I say that as someone who isn't particularly a big fan of him but I have to give him lots of credit for the improvements he's shown over the last 6 or 7 years.

Yep, that's it. There's a message in what he is saying. Alvarez fought an old Mayweather, an old Mosley, a shot to pieces and smaller man in Amir Khan, an old Miguel Cotto an old Golovkin and an old Kovalev. None of those guys mentioned were in their primes or at their physical peaks.

Floyd is on video bragging about Intentionally weight draining canelo. So your entire pt is bs. Canelo told him he couldn't make 152 anymore because he had grown too much & floyd forced him to or no fight. Canelo has never fought looking like the zombie that faced floyd(he would've likely done much better at full 154.) But floyd at least faced mostly champions like nelo throughout his career,but nelos starting to pull ahead imho. Canelo will be remembered as an atg just like fmj

I'd like to see SRL be 37yrs old, and face an opponent who is 23yrs old and 15lbs bigger than him, at a catch weight.

I bet you wouldnt even mention the catch weight, because SRL is going to get his brains battered. Its ironic what Floyd has been doing to top notch opponents who are so much bigger than him, they would destroy him with one punch. Yet he walks them down and doesnt get grazed by one.

People forget that every fighter gets old at different ages in there career, Floyd was still prime when he fought Canelo, I feel like most Mexican fighters get older faster, because they seem to take more punishment, Morales was old by early 30's so was JC Chavez, Castillo, Barrera, only Marquez lasted because he was a counter puncher and maybe took care of himself better outside the ring
