He quit against Pac. Marquez fought him 4 times and never quit. Real Mexicanos do not quit. He also tested positive for steroids against Danny Garcia. Canelo's detractors are remiss of how tough it is to move up weight classes at the top of the professional ranks and Kovalev is being seriously underrated here.

He's not in his prime, but he's not shot either. He's a future HOFer, one of the best Light Heavyweights of recent years, and until Beterbiev-Gvodzyk he was the clear cut #1 at 175 (Kovalev would not have been an underdog to none of the titlist).

People are going to see what they want, but Kovalev is going to perform better than expected and, if he loses fairly, hopefully Canelo gets full credit with those that matter in due time.

Since you're not smart enough to get that info, let me give you a spoiler, most top names that Canelo faced were 35 and over, and Floyd was actually the older fighter vs most big names he faced, except for mosley.
