Where were the final Spence-Porter PPV numbers reported?

If someone can send me a link it would be highly appreciated!

I have a feeling there isn’t a report out there. I have a feeling the people who hate PBC decided that Coppinger’s report was a lie and base this off of absolutely nothing, as usual.

I consider Coppinger's number a lie based on circumstantial evidence, not because I hate PBC. If Spence-Porter had worse gate and attendance than Wilder-Fury I don't think it could have done a better buyrate. They never release any official numbers. They used to in the past on rare occasions when a PPV did extremely well, like over 1 million buys. Based on what's known from the UFC anti-trust lawsuit and their sale to WME we got a glimpse at their official numbers and almost always the numbers reported in the media were inflated, the real buyrate is lower.

So there’s no evidence he lied.

You came to the conclusion that it must be a lie because you wanted it to be one. Then you looked for any flimsy piece of “evidence” you could find to support your theory that he’s a liar.

Yup, exactly what I thought. Thanks!!!

You can't disprove something there's no proof of. Where's the evidence that it had 350k buys? I base my opinion on the surrounding evidence. Coppinger is either a psychic or a liar to be able to know how many buys it would get just 2 days after the event. If we're just gonna start believing random numbers that are thrown out there why don't we all just go along with Richard Schaeffer's claim that Spence-Garcia was tracking to do over 1 million buys?

Did well enough for Spence to buy a Ferrari and a new grill.

An article here at Boxing Scene stated 275,000 buys. Fox does not release official numbers. So journalists like Coppinger are free to shill and release numbers on Monday morning.

Multiple sources have informed BoxingScene.com that Spence-Porter probably will have produced approximately 275,000 buys, based on initial projections from cable and satellite operators. Spence’s first FOX Sports Pay-Per-View appearance – a unanimous-decision defeat of Mikey Garcia on March 16 – reportedly generated about 330,000 buys.

I base my opinion on a trained journalist knowing that lying in that manner would be a completely unethical and reason for termination if it was ever discovered to be a lie.
