and yeah actually I have been in the ring. Boxing is not all that it's cracked up to be. The hardest part about it is getting into boxing shape. Once you learn the basics develop your own style and begin to spar more and more then if you are a fast leaner you can pick the sport up relatively quickly.

That's why I say pick a group of athletic black kids who grew up in a rough neighborhood most of us that come up like that already know how to fight we come up fighting weekly and slap boxing daily but lack proper training and discipline.

Now let me remind you or maybe you don't know because you're the one that actually doesn't know chit about boxing. The HW Champion of the world Deontay Wilder started boxing at 20 years old! The WW Champion Errol Spence started boxing at 15! Sergio Martinez started boxing at 20! Marciano started at 20 something, Tarver started at like 23 the list goes on and on and all became high level boxers. So GTFOH talking about what you don't know. Do your research clown.
You said you could take a kid of the street and in 6mths teach him to beat Gonz. Tarver did not start boxing at 23. He started as a young kid as an amateur even fought R Jones at around 13-14. He quit for a little while, but came back to be the #1 Am in country and fought in the 96 games. Also NONE that you named only fought for 6mths, try at least 6ys before they fought for titles and even 6yrs is rare. Saying you could take some kid off the street and teach him how to beat Gonz SHOWS you know NOTHING about boxing. Don't even bother to respond because I'm not wasting anymore time on you.

Casually is a great word to describe how he fought him. Dude never had to go into second gear all night. Just boxed his ears off without breaking a sweat
        Stevenson is the real deal.

This also proves you fail to comprehend what you are reading as well. I said take a group of black athletic kids same size as Stevenson who grew up in a rough neighborhood and in 6 months of boxing lessons and training daily 60-70% of them would probably beat Joet azz which is the truth.

NOW. Let's take a look at Stevenson size. He's really a 130 pounder fighting at 126 so he already came into the fight with not only better skills but significant size, power and athletic advantages over Joet.

Then you are trying to stretch the facts to make it convenient for you LMAO. Tarver quit for a little while LOL Tarver quit for a long while fool his 1st pro fight took place when he was 28 years old! You don't know what you're talking about just admit it. The fact is the guys I named started boxing late most in their 20's

Just look at Conor, the dude is a glorified street fighter trained boxing for like 3 months at 29 years old and was able to win about 4 rounds against the best boxer of the generation in Floyd Mayweather, and Joet is not even in the same realm as Floyd.

Joet garbage azz isn't even good enough to win a title this was simply a showcase fight for Stevenson for a vacant belt. These promoters have dudes like you fooled. You act like he was in some tough fight with Stevenson it wasn't even close, he looked like the bum he was and he never even fought anyone anyway as a matter of fact a lot of people thought he lost his last fight FOH dude you really don't know chit about boxing or the streets. GTFOH.

Tarver started boxing as a kid. When he picked back up he became the #1 guy in the country as a amateur and was a gold medal fave. Again you say after ONLY 6mths you could make someone capable of beating a fringe contender like Gonz. Its a complete joke and shows you know NOTHING. Also ANYONE who talks about how tough there are in the streets is just the opposite. Go tell your fairy tales to someone else

Shakur Stevenson in 13 fights has 7 KO's and hasn't really fought anyone except Joet Gonzalez who only has 10 more fights. The jury is still out lets see the level in competition jump...............and then just maybe. LOL! Guys are making him TBE with 13 fights.

Just speaking facts really. You got a lot of minority kids in the hoods around America that are so naturally gifted with their hands they just don't have the guidance or means to fulfill their potential and there are no boxing gyms on every corner to spark their interests just liquor stores fast food and parks.

That's why sports like basketball and football are dominated by Blacks we come up playing those sports in the hood from young children starting from like age 5-6. If amateur boxing was more prevalent in the hood we'd probably have someone just as good as Floyd coming up already.

We need boxing in more inner cities where kids can really fight naturally like Florida, GA, Texas, Baltimore, Det, Tenn ect ect
