This fight may be similar to Kell Brook vs Gennady Golovkin, in the sense that? It is a completely unnecessary fight for Canelo Alvarez, and could change his career due to the manner of defeat. 'I honestly think Kovalev's Jab will be a prominent decisive weapon in his fight, which will really bother Alvarez. I just think Alavarez's team has over shot the mark, and are underestimating what Kovalev as a fighter has left 'Anthony Yardie probably hits harder than Alvarez, and may even have a better engine' Kovalev showed durability and great boxing skills under intense pressure in that fight, as a fighter that is only going to increase your self belief.

'I actually think this fight is coming at a great time for Kovalev, he has momentum from his last fight etc'

I see Kovalev winning this fight.

Canelo. And I wouldn't be surprised if the referee steps in to wave it off.

Great prediction as always from myself.

Makes me cringe seeing so many people who were sure Kovalev was gonna win are now spewing garbage about how they knew Canelo was gonna win all along...

And for the record the poll was at about 35-65 in Kovalev's favour up to the finish. Right now it sits at 47-53 for Kovalev, but expect it to be in favour of Canelo before much longer.

                  - - As regarding the alleged dehydration clause the usual muffins around here like to scream about.

Although he was tallish, Kov was never a weight bully, instead relying on a rapier jab and otherworldly power and timing. Did a great job outboxing Canelo at distance. Thing is the top of Canelo's head negated his power as that's where a fighter breaks hands, so Canelo stayed well tucked until he finally timed Kov movements and the rest history. Sweet science kind of fight unlike the Wart fraud.
