So it's fight week. What's your official prediction for Kovalev vs Canelo?

Want Canelo to lose but He's gonna win this. There's a reason Canelo camp chose Kovalev. I definitely hope I'm wrong.

Canelo, and I can see it by a solid decision or a stoppage.

As Andre Ward recently said, Kovalev is well past his prime. He's no "Krusher" anymore, and hasn't been for quite awhile.

Canelo is very strong to the body. Kovalev's major weakness. And if the fight is very competitive, we KNOW what the judges are going to do.

I can't see Kovalev winning this.

Those of you choosing Kovalev by decision, what are you on? No way in hell does DAZN or Oscar allow their cash cow to lose in Vegas of all places, by a decision. The judges and ref are already taken care of. No matter if Canelo loses all 12 rounds, if it goes to decision, he wins. At worst he would get a draw to set up a rematch that we all watch, which will just give Kovalev more time to get old.

This is a 50-50 fight but Kovalev needs the KO to win.

That being said I see this being an entertaining fight. My gut tells me Kovalev is too much for Canelo, but I wonder if Kovalev has aged too much at this point. Hard to call this one but I'll go with Canelo by late stoppage in a war.

I think Kovalev is going to give Canelo more than Canelo thinks he will. He'll catch him with some good shots and Canelo will try to land his counters but it won't be easy due to range. Kovalev will beat Canelo up enough to justify a decision win but I'm not sure he'll actually get the decision. Something tells me though, that to everyone's surprise, Kovalev will actually get a close decision. There will most likely be a rematch too and it will be close and Canelo will probably get the decision there. It's just how I see things going. Who knows? It's why they fight the fights.
