The Rocky series has some goods. They got corny after the first one imho. I liked Stallone’s rebirth approach when Tarver was introduced. Was that Rocky 6 I believe? Stallone’s writing got better, more mature. But even the first one Stallone broke into the Art house scene and acted in it, that’s too gangsta imho. Nobody did it like him!

It’s like what Marlon Brando COULDVE done, but such a project was never introduced in his youth.

The OP doesn’t even know how racist and gangsta Scorsese films are... lol. First off, Raging Bull is way more racist and realistic than the Rocky films, but then again its East Coast classics of Jake LaMottaism.
