Rocky = Racist
I was a huge fan of the Rocky movies growing up. My daddy never liked them very much and I didn't listen when he told me they were racist, but now, as a grown man, I can clearly see what he was talking about... For some reason, black people are portrayed as bad boxers and horrible people in the Rocky movies and it's not just a coincidence, it's systematic.
Rocky 1:
We first see Rocky beating a cheating black man called Spider Rico. He then ends up beating the arrogant Apollo in the end, although the judges gave it to Apollo.
Rocky 2:
Rocky beats the arrogant Apollo again.
Rocky 3:
Rocky loses to a rude black Clubber Lang only because he's distracted by Mickey's death and then goes on to school Clubber in the rematch.
Rocky 4:
A once again arrogant Apollo is killed in just the second round by a white Russian called Ivan. So the white savior, Rocky, has to go to Russia and avenge his black friend.
Rocky 5:
Rocky trains a new white hope, who beats the current black champ. All along, an evil black promoter is harassing Rocky. Rocky punches him in the end, saying "sue me for what?", as if it's a simple fact that black people can't win assault cases.
Rocky Balboa:
An old Rocky returns to the ring to beat a young arrogant black champion called Mason Dixon.
Creed:
Even when the black guy is a main character, he just can't win. Creed lost to Bellew in the end.
Creed 2:
Creed had to lose to Ivan's son before he managed to beat him in the rematch. He also seems like a brat, yelling at the old nice Rocky who took him in as his student.
It's simply out of touch with reality that black people lose 90% of the time and are bad people 90% of the time. To make it worse, they even made Apollo cheat on his wife... I liked these movies as a child, but come on, it should be clear by now that they have a clear racist agenda. I recommend all of you to boycot this franchise and spread the word, it's simply horrible that Rocky is regarded as some hero in the boxing community. Stallone shouldn't be hailed for this racist franchise, it's sick that such stuff is popular in this day and age.
