Trinidad vs De La Hoya. I was 12 years old and my dad didn't let me watch it because he thought I would find it boring and fall asleep (I was notorious for falling asleep by 10:00pm regardless of where I was). My uncle recorded it for me and I watched it another day. I never understood how Trinidad was awarded the decision, but his run after that fight was so impressive to me I just started watching all the fights I could. I always hoped to one day see De La Hoya vs Trinidad II, but obviously it never happened.
