Comments Thread For: Team Haney: We'd Love Luke Campbell - We'll Chop Him Up Easy!

Bill Haney believes he has the perfect opponent in mind. His son, unbeaten lightweight Devin Haney, was waiting for his mandatory crack at unified titlist Vasiliy Lomachenko. In fact, it was the very same boxer they had in mind when they thought a title shot was in reach.

Campbell crushes Haney. Haney doesn't have the boxing ability Loma does, he'll be picked apart.

Vasily Bumchenko had a close fight with this two time WBC loser Luke Campbell. Luke, like Bumchenko gets all the breaks ; this unearned opportunity reminds me of when Orlandoe Salido whooped Bumchenko in 2014 because the privileged euro-bum ( Bumchenko) got a immediate shot at the very same title ( WBO feather), despite taking a L.

Unfortunately for the 'Promoted' or dishonored, somehow now full WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney, he has little choice on the matter if he wants credibility as the legitimate WBC champ, as Haney vs. Campbell was initially the valid contest for the WBC 135 title, but again due to politics Bumchenko robbed Haney of the right.

Looks like all the crying and complaining by Eddie Hearn about the WBC's ruling to make Bumchenko the mandatory turned out well in the end.

Nobody should consider #3 WBC ranked Haney even as interim champ before he faces Campbell (or at least Lopez). Full champion cow's ass!

P.S. I say Haney wins close decision, Campbell shoul have 'bring-back-confidence fight' first because nobody is the same after Loma fight.

            Wrong.

Lomachenko dropped the belt rather than have to fight his mandatory Devin Haney.

So Haney is the legit WBC champ now until proven otherwise in the ring.

WRONG! Lomachenko was elevated to a superior belt above Devin Haney by the WBC as acknowledgement for his accomplishments, accomplishments Devin simply does not have.

Vasily Bumchenko screams ignorant bias, enough said.

                    A fair honest assessment.
