As long as DAZN keeps going strong without upping prices (or significantly upping them) i'm okay with boxing now. Although, HBO had the best quality broadcasting for boxing

It definitely sucks no one has taken their place yet. DAZN was looking like they were trying to be HBO-lite with their big pickups, but beyond those big pickups it feels like they are just churning out w/e they can churn out over there being a feel of quality lower level fights.
Hes hoping someone becomes the king of boxing again soon & I think it'll happen but it might still be years down the line & some casultys will be needed first.Comment

I miss HBO boxing. It's production values were the best in the business. I always enjoyed commentary too. I was never annoyed by them, like other posters. I still subscribe to HBO because I enjoy there other original programming and shows. Having boxing on there was just a nice little extra.
I'm missing more fights these days because mostly everything is on a pay stream. I'm not down with having to subscribe to ESPN+ or DAZN, or fights that are on PPV. The biggest sports in the world (NFL, MLB, NBA, Tennis, Golf, Racing, Soccer, etc.) are all free. I wish boxing could be as accessible as other sports. We don't have to pay a PPV for any championships, Grand Slams, World Cups. Why can't boxing be the same?
My guess is because there's no leagues, no teams, too many sanctioning bodies, and fighters are pigeonholed by promoters.Comment

Some of these commentators are horrible. I miss hbo. But they couldn't get the best fights anymore.Comment

Absolutely. Best production easily. Also RJJ is the best. When it comes to breaking down fights. No joke.Comment
