Fury did beat Klitschko - he may be past his prime, but still one of the better wins in HW history.

parker's not a bad fighter. very good chin, good size, good boxing ability. but he won a split decision in his hometown against ruiz. put that thing in las vegas and how does the scoring look? and put him in with a puncher who can impress judges more than parker impresses with his movement and activity, and how does the scoring look?

ortiz gets a lot of credit because he's a big puncher and he's left handed. big lefties are all playing baseball! really, go through teh history fo the division and find me a wealth of left handed punchers. corrie sanders, luis oritz, and who else? it's all new school, european pitty patters who played pattycake in the amateurs until they were 30. those guys are never good pros! i'd have to scratch my head a little bit to tell you some other left handed punchers at HW! you can't even get sparring for them!

ortiz has a very deep amateur background, too. makes him very dangerous. his danger is more than the sum of his resume, if that makes sense. all things equal, you avoid the left handed puncher if the money is the same agains the right hander without that kind of power.

he gets a lot of crap because he is probably a hell of a lot older than they claim. there are people in boxing gyms who would know the real story who claim ortiz is 50 years old! with a 5 !

on what f#cking planet is a close win over wladimir klitschko at the very end of his career "one of the best wins ever in HW history?"

planet union jack, that is were! holy **** you guys are deluded. i love fury now and think he's the planet's best HW but man are you guys f#cking deluded if you think his win over wladimir was historic. PED use, wladimir literally retiring after the fight, the negativity and how little he did to distance himself or put a hurting on a 40 year old who couldn't pull the trigger, you guys just forget all of this stuff because he's british! and that's why we don't take you seriously. you don't act like you've been there, because you can't! you haven't!

Jesse Ferguson beat Buster Douglas who beat Mike Tyson, so they’re all great fighters.

Klitschko was 39 so he was old and using a cane.

Ortiz has the worst resume in the top 10 and has defeated ZERO guys worth mentioning to fighting Wilder, but then again shouldn't the thread be about that ? Who has defeated anyone to fight Wilder himself beyond Fury who has a win over Wlad and that's the fight Wilder lost isn't it ?

After Povetkin best Rahman, Rahman lost a decision to a boxer who’s currently 4-3.

                  That doesn’t count.

Chagaev lost to Lucas Browne. He’s clearly not good.

After he lost to Povetkin, Chris Byrd lost to a light heavyweight who finished his career at 18-3. That doesn’t count.

Let's not act like Povetkin didn't beat quality guys though, Rahman, Byrd, Chagiev. Parker beat Ruiz. No reason to combat ******ity with ******ity.

With this logics only good fighters are these who have not lost yet.

                      Yup.

If you apply the logic Joshua fans use on Ortiz, everyone sucks.
