Me 2. I’m a HUGE Ward and Kov. fan so I was twisted on who to root for.
Kov should of won the 1st fight and the second was some BS! Weeks stopped the fight and was doing ZERO favors for Kov.
He should of warned Ward. Heck to this day I clearly remember Ward punching Kov low and looked at the ref. Expecting a warning??? The ref. Said jack sht and Ward continued on... Him and Floyd Bayless jr. are sht refs. When it comes to high profile fights with black superstars.
Bayless fkn is the WORST!!! Maidana was fighting 2 guys in their 2nd fight. *** remember when Floyd said he got bit and Batyless almost started massaging his hand???
Nah, Ward gave kovalev a gut check in that 1st fight & had kovalev holding the whole fight & Tony Weeks saved kovalev's life in the 2nd fight.
Conditioning, conditioning, conditioning. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If Kovalev hadn’t run out of gas in the first Ward fight he would had beaten him handily. It is well know he enjoys a vodka or twenty seven and that might very well have been his undoing.

Kovalev beat him soundly and clearly. There was nothing in the first fight that Ward did better than Kovalev, Kovalev out punch, outwork, out jabed and outmaneuver Ward and on top of all that Dropped him.
Negative! S.O.G. shut kovalev out after the knock down with body shots the whole fight that had kovalev holding Ward the rest of the fight. kovalev couldn't land punches after the knock down.
Well the odds have come down since opening. U can get Nelo @ -341, most around -450. That’s very tempting. U can always expect one score wide for Nelo. The guy can fail a drug test and it doesnt matter. Nelo is the Pope.
The thing of it is... yes, if it goes the 12... I fully expect the Vegas water to get judges to give the scorecards to him... as such, I think if Kovalev can get in as many shots on Canelo as he did on Yarde... ok, even less... we may see Ginger on the floor.
Kovalev perfectly well knows that the cards are against him.
I think the gameplan will be to jab jab jab jab knock his ass out.
Its his only way to win that fight. Just use the height & reach & keep Nelo at bay.
